D&B Course in Johannesburg
Just finished a challenging D&B Course with a mix of people from Coal, UG, Open Cut and Construction
“This course was arguably the best I had ever been on! I felt inspired towards drill and blast design more than ever. It was great to be facilitated by someone with this level of experience, expertise and passion towards the discipline. It was a truly motivating couple of days. Thank you Rauf!”
Its comments like this from Greg Bolshaw that keeps me motivated.
Improved Fragmentation in Sulawesi
Four days return trip to a Gold mine in Sulawesi without seeing another caucasian being stared at by little children. Met a lot of friendly and happy people and the fish was fantastic.
The mission – Improve fragmentation from this!
The site is trying to reduce their leaching cycle down from 45 days to 26 by improving fragmentation. P80 is acceptable but they have a large amount of oversize. During the visit it was obvious that the oversize was from the blast boundaries and ridges.
Mission Accomplished!
